BCBC Offers 'How To' Career Guide

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation says those interested in developing a career in the broadcast industry have an opportunity to gain insight during its Broadcasting Career Builder Conference on Oct. 28.
The BCBC will open with a keynote address featuring Mojo of “Mojo in the Morning” on WKQI(FM), Detroit. Panel discussions during the day include “How to Climb the Mountain 2: Getting Your First Gig”; “Broadcasting Showcase,” a look at different kinds of broadcasting jobs; “Getting the Broadcast Job You Desire”; “From Tech Geek to Broadcast Star - The Importance of Technology in Broadcasting”; and “Non-Traditional Careers in Radio.”
The cost is $35.


Career Day Offers New Opportunities

Besides connecting recruiters and jobseekers, the NAB Radio Show’s annual Career Day will offer participants insight into getting started on the road to a career in broadcasting.
