Broadcast Electronics is cooperating with MDOUK to offer U.S. customers a studio-to-transmitter product for carrying live audio over IP networks.
AudioTX STL-IP is manufactured by MDOUK Broadcast, a codec and media delivery company in the U.K., and is offered in the United States exclusively through BE.
The STL unit is capable of receiving and sending audio using point-to-point UDP or TCP/IP and point-to-multipoint UDP multicast networks, making it suitable for distribution of live or shared programming for radio station groups, the companies said.
The AudioTX unit adds to BE’s STL lineup, which includes offerings for connectivity through telco, Internet, wireless, satellite and wide- and local-area networks.
