Broadcast Electronics struck a business deal with a company in China to supply transmitters in that market.
Desbell Technology is a system integrator and equipment provider in Beijing. BE said Desbell will supply and support BE-authorized AM and FM transmission systems and AudioVault and TRE digital automation studio systems.
Of particular interest to BE in this deal is its ability to sell its new line of low-power scalable FM transmitters, the STX LP line, into China.
The announcement was made by BE VP of RF Products Tim Bealor and Desbell GM Yangqi Jin.
BE Asia Pacific Sales Manager Frank Massa added, “Desbell’s expertise in digital transmission will accurately represent our HD technology for upcoming field trials in conjunction with ABS and SARFT,” the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television in China.
