BE Provides RF for Radio Mir

A transmitter deal overseas for Broadcast Electronics, from the Who’s Buying What page of Radio World:
The supplier says the Stabilization Force for Bosnia and Herzegovina, or SFOR, acquired new BE transmitters and is using them to establish 10 radio stations for Radio Mir, a network that promotes national unification. NATO leads the SFOR.
The most recent order is for two FM 5C and one FM 3C transmitters plus two FXi 250 digital FM exciters; the customer also bought several BE transmitters last year.
“The purchases punctuate the historic conclusion of a nine-year peacekeeping and rebuilding mission by NATO in 2004,” BE stated.
