BE Ships Million-Dollar Deal From ERTU

Transmission sites in Suez and Hurghada, Egypt, will get new transmission and antenna systems from Broadcast Electronics.

The manufacturer said engineers from the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (????? ??????? ? ?????????? ??????, ERTU) were at their plant in Illinois to finalize delivery of turnkey systems in a project valued at more than US$1 million.

The engineers attended training class on solid-state transmitter operation and approved the equipment for shipment.

The customized, turnkey systems consist of five BE FM 2C solid-state FM transmitters in a 4+1 configuration, which is visible in the photo background.
