BE Shows DRM Module at IBC

BE is introducing a product for the DRM market.
At the week’s IBC2006 conference in Europe, it’s been showing a new transmitter module for Digital Radio Mondiale. The AMD 10 DRM Exciter module plugs into any BE medium-wave transmitter to broadcast DRM.
BE is a member of the DRM Consortium and is developing the module in cooperation with Glen English of Pacific Media Technologies in Australia. The plug-in module for BE 4MX, A and E series transmitters supports all DRM modes of operation and requires no other modification to transmission infrastructure, the company said.
