Beasley and Propel Team Up Online

Aim is to help clients extend reach, target messaging

Beasley Broadcast Group Inc. has engaged Propel Marketing to help Beasley’s local clients build and expand their online marketing opportunities. Beasley owns and operates a total of 44 radio stations (28 FM and 16 AM) in 11 radio markets.

Propel Marketing’s products and services include website and mobile site design, search engine optimization, lists and local directories, social media services and online reputation management, according to a release.

Beasley says its relationship with Propel enhances the on-air and online advertising opportunities available to existing and future clients, especially small businesses that typically do not have in-house resources to create and implement successful online marketing campaigns. Propel Marketing will create and deliver online marketing solutions, as well as dedicate personnel to ensure Beasley’s clients are leveraging Propel products, according to a release.

Company EVP/CFO Caroline Beasley says the arrangement “gives us the ability to respond to any request a local advertiser may have that involves exploring a digital component.” Combining radio’s reach with Propel online products and services will enhance a local advertising campaign, according to Beasley.

The upshot, according to Beasley VP of Digital Stacey Sedbrook is clients can extend their audience reach and more efficiently target their messaging.
