Beasley Las Vegas Operations Manager Justin Chase has been promoted to a newly-created position of vice president of programming, reporting to President and Chief Operations Officer Bruce Beasley.
Chase will oversee all programming responsibilities for Beasley’s portfolio of 40+ radio stations in 11 markets. He will also develop creative campaigns that extend the radio stations’ on-air brands to the digital space.
Most recently, Chase served as operations manager for Beasley’s three music stations in Las Vegas, KCYE(FM), KKLZ(FM) and KOAS(FM) and also managed programming for KVGS(FM), owned by GGB Las Vegas LLC. He joined Beasley Las Vegas in 2009.
He has earned Beasley’s Program Director of the Year award, and under his leadership, his radio stations have been named Marconi Awards finalists.
Prior to joining Beasley, Chase was the program director of CBS Radio’s hot AC station in Las Vegas where he led KMXB(FM). Before moving to Las Vegas in 2000, Chase worked in the programming departments of Entercom in Greenville, S.C., CBS Radio in Sacramento, Calif., and Clear Channel in Modesto/Stockton, Calif.
He will temporarily remain in Vegas, but Beasley spokeswoman Denyse Mesnik indicated he will likely relocate to the East in the future in order to be closer to the company’s major markets.
