Beasley Broadcast’s Wilmington, Del., FM WJBR has announced that General Sales Manager Dan Sultzbach will be its new general manager.
Sultzbach succeeds Jane Bartsch, who passed away in June. Sultzbach has been the sales manager since 2009 and is a Delaware native. Sultzbach has been in radio since 1996, with stops at WRDX(FM), WPTP(FM) and WXTU(FM) before arriving at WJBR(FM). He has been with Beasley since 2000.
Beasley Broadcast President and CEO Bruce Beasley said: “Dan’s promotion to general manager follows our recent loss of Jane Bartsch, who served as WJBR’s GM since 2003 … It is always a pleasure to promote from within the company, but at a time such as this it is extremely important to bring in a manager with strong connections to the station, the staff and the community.”
Beasley Broadcast has 45 stations, mostly along the Eastern Seaboard, with Florida and the Middle Atlantic region being the lead markets.
