Beasley Completes Purchase of 50 kW AM in Las Vegas

Beasley Broadcast has completed the purchase of Radio Nevada Corp.’s KDWN(AM), which airs on 720 kHz station in Las Vegas.
The deal was for approximately $17 million. Beasley also bought 27 acres of land in the deal for $5 million. The land was the subject of an option to purchase in the original purchase agreement. KDWN’s tower is on the land in Henderson.
Chairman/CEO George Beasley said, “KDWN can reach more listeners than any other station in the market and represents an outstanding platform for talk radio programming.” The group has three other stations there.
