Beasley Group Sets Up Service for Troops

Beasley Broadcast Group stations in Eastern North Carolina have launched a program to let troops stationed overseas communicate with loved ones.
Operation “Keeping You Close” combines local radio and Eastern North Carolina community events with streaming radio and Web pages on the stations’ Web sites. Also involved are Eastern North Carolina Shout Outs, Military Families of the Month and Girl Scout cookies for the troops.
