Beasley Media Group, a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, has appointed Mark Sturcken to director of sales, and JoAnn Johnson to business manager for the company’s Las Vegas cluster.
A radio sales veteran, Sturcken’s experience spans more than 24 years in the Las Vegas market. He takes his new role after serving in sales positions for Beasley since 2010.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Mark over the years and he is the consummate professional with a long history of sales success,” said Market Manager Tom Humm. “He is highly respected in this industry by both his clients and our industry peers.”
Sturcken said he was excited to lead the Las Vegas sales efforts for Beasley Media Group. “It‘s an honor to work for a company where on any given day a member of the Beasley family may visit, and knows your name,” he said.
Johnson, on her part, said she was eager to begin her new position as business manager. “My sincere thanks go to Beasley’s Vice President of Corporate Strategy Catherine Cook and Las Vegas Market Manager Tom Humm for selecting me for this fantastic opportunity. I have a passion for the radio industry and I’m enthusiastic about joining Beasley’s Vegas team!”
The company’s new business manager’s professional background spans two decades in the Las Vegas market, serving as controller, senior accountant and credit collections manager, including professional accountant positions in the radio industry.
Humm said he was looking forward to working with Johnson to develop the company’s internal systems and controls to provide the best in client service. “Her unmatched financial background, kind and professional demeanor and 20-year residency in Las Vegas are a perfect combination of qualities to join our great staff,” said Humm.
