Beasley Shifts N.C. Market Manager to Detroit Stations

Also promotes Tampa general sales manager to fill the Fayetteville vacancy

Beasley Media Group Inc. a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group Inc., has promoted former Fayetteville’s VP /Market Manager Mac “Edwards” McTindal to vice president and market manager at Beasley’s newly acquired Detroit cluster. Erika Beasley has been promoted to vice president and market manager for Fayetteville, N.C., filling his vacancy.

McTindal will oversee three of Greater Media’s former stations WRIF(FM) and WMGC(FM), as well as WCSX(FM).

Prior to this move, McTindal worked in the Fayetteville market for a quarter century. According to the release, he has worked as a program director, on-air talent, operations manager and market manager, the position he has held since 2007.

Erika Beasley

Beasley had served as general sales manager of WQYK in Beasley’s Tampa Bay, Fla., market since January 2015. She has 12 years of experience at Beasley’s stations, from Ft. Myers, Fla., to Philadelphia to Tampa, Fla., and is a graduate of the NAB Leadership Training Class and the Radio Advertising Bureau “Rising Through the Ranks,” where she was honored with the first annual Mentoring and Inspiring Women Rising Star Award.
