Beasley Broadcast Group has promoted Denyse Smith Mesnik to vice president of corporate communications, a new position. She’s been corporate communications director since 2000.
She works in Beasley’s corporate office in Naples, Fla., and oversees the company’s public relations and communications outreach, for its corporate presence and that of its 42 stations.
In addition to duties at Beasley, Mesnik is a co-founder of the industry’s Radio Communicators Group, a director of the Florida Association of Broadcasters and a member of the executive committee of the Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group.
On a local level, she is a director of the Public Relations Society of America, Gulf Coast Chapter. On numerous occasions she’s participated on communications task forces for the National Association of Broadcasters, iBiquity Digital and HD Radio.
A 20-year veteran of radio broadcasting, Mesnik joined Beasley in 1990. She reports to EVP/CFO Caroline Beasley.
