Registration is underway for the BGS Roanoke Expo, to be held on July 17.
It’s a free all-day event; the company said more than 50 manufacturers are signed up to exhibit, with some donating door prizes. The show includes free breakfast and lunch.
SBE President Barry Thomas will speak; and the program includes an EAS update from Darryl Parker of TFT; a “super session” on HD Radio transmission with Jerry Massey of Entercom; and a Livewire University seminar. Companies participating in the seminar include Radio Systems, AudioScience and 25-Seven Systems.
Sessions run 8:15 to 10 a.m.; the Livewire session is 3 to 5 p.m. Exhibits are 10 to 5.
The venue is the Roanoke Convention Center. The city is in the southwest part of the state, near the Blue Ridge Parkway; it is not far from North Carolina and West Virginia.
