Broadcast engineers, receiver manufacturers and retailers will take part in the commercial launch of HD Radio receivers Wednesday (Jan. 7) at the CES show in Las Vegas.
During the press conference, Ibiquity Digital President/CEO Struble and CEA President/CEO Gary Shapiro will be joined by industry representatives from Beasley Broadcast Group, Greater Media and NPR.
Consumer electronics manufacturers on hand include Onkyo, JVC, Kenwood USA and Visteon.
Retailers and other third-party partners to take part are Navigation Technologies, Ultimate Electronics and SRS Labs.
HD Radio products and demonstrations are available at the Ibiquity Digital Booth (#4619) through Sunday, Jan. 11 and in the following partner booths: Alpine, Delphi, Eclipse, JVC, Kenwood, Panasonic, Personal Telecom, Sanyo, Texas Instruments, TBK and Visteon.
