Veteran engineer and equipment salesman John Bisset has joined the Telos Alliance.
He’ll be director of western sales for radio brands. The company comprises Telos Systems, Omnia, Axia, Linear Acoustic and 25-Seven Systems.
Bisset most recently was U.S. director of technical services and education for Elenos Corp. in Miami. He has worked for manufacturers like BE and Nautel, as well as running a contract engineering business. He is author of the popular Radio World column Workbench and is a past recipient of the SBE Educator of the Year award. He speaks often at national and regional conventions, often about RF and engineering tips.
The company noted that this reunites Bisset with Cam Eicher, director of global sales for the company; the two had worked together at Harris Corp.
