Blasi Will Head Sales and Marketing Efforts for Nash

Westwood One alum returns as SVP

Westwood One has hired a new senior vice president of marketing and sales for Cumulus Media’s Nash radio and lifestyle brand. Tasha Blasi Pannuzzo will take on this newly created role, overseeing client relations, brand partnerships, along with multiplatform integrations for the entertainment brand based on the country music lifestyle, a release said.

Blasi (her preferred name in professional circles) is based in New York City and reports directly to Westwood One President Steve Shaw.

“Our Nash assets are attracting great advertiser interest, and we needed a seasoned professional to build on that buzz and cater to those clients,” said Shaw. “Tasha totally fits the bill. She’s got powerful sales savvy, she knows the Country demographic, and she’s a proven revenue generator. She will be a great addition to our senior management team.”

She previously worked at Westwood One from 2005–11, and during her earlier tenure with the company, was one of the top sellers before moving up to manage the Business Radio Network and lead sales and marketing for the launch of the Wall Street Journal Radio assets. More recently, Blasi was a sales director at TargetSpot. However, earlier in her career, she was a high school biology and chemistry teacher, a private tutor and an entrepreneur who created several small businesses.

“Creating a strong sales vertical for the Nash brand will be like running my own small business within a business — a space I know really well,” said Blasi. “I’m looking forward to designing unique, customized sponsorship packages that offer clients turnkey solutions that exceed their expectations.”
