Blaupunkt Debuts Sirius Satellite Radio Tuner for Car and Home

Blaupunkt is delivering a plug-and-play Sirius Satellite Radio for home and auto. The Blaupunkt America SR04 features a removable tuner, in-car plug-and-play mounting cradle, DC power supply, wireless remote control and a satellite antenna. The audio output can be hard-wired to a car stereo receiver with auxiliary inputs, a feature available on most Blaupunkt car audio receivers. The America SR04 also has a built-in 12-channel wireless FM modulator to broadcast Sirius to any FM tuner.
At home, the same Blaupunkt America SR04 can be plugged into an optional home accessory kit. The unit is available from Blaupunkt dealers and lists for $159.95; the optional home kit costs $49.95.
