Randall Bloomquist, Operations Director of WMAL(AM) in Washington and former Washington Bureau Chief of Radio & Records, is no fan of former NPR Morning Edition host Bob Edwards.
In an opinion piece for The Wall Street Journal, Bloomquist says trade press should be asking what took NPR so long, rather than asking why the network made the change in the first place.
He refers to Edwards as a “dinosaur” who had “plateaued.”
“I thought NPR was for smart people,” the piece begins.
