Bob Barnett Goes Home

Radio vet returns to old stomping grounds

“Who says you can’t go home?” asked radio station management veteran Bob Barnett reflecting on his latest stop, Entercom Rochester.

He will be operations manager for the five-station cluster (four FMs, one AM).

Barnett, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., got his start in 1987 at then-Heritage Media’s WBEE(FM), now one of the Rochester cluster.

In between Barnett has had stops in Nashville at WSIX(FM) and, most recently, Miami at WKIS(FM). He also served as a regional corporate brand manager for Clear Channel.

Entercom has 110 stations in 23 markets.
