Bob Heil received the Parnelli Audio Innovator Award from Sound Image President Dave Shadoan at a ceremony on Nov. 16.
He received the award for his work with such performers as The Who, Humble Pie, Peter Frampton and Joe Walsh. Heil said the award is considered the “Grammy” of the sound industry.
