Mark Bolke, VP and COO of music scheduling software developer A-Ware, will be leaving that company at the end of the year.
Before starting at A-Ware some nine years ago, Bolke worked at KPKE(FM) as PD and KRXY(AM/FM) in Denver as ops manager, along with a programming stint at KDWB(FM) in Richfield, Minn. He was an owner of Rate the Music, a music testing and evaluation service eventually was purchased by Premiere Radio Networks.
In addition Bolke has been an independent radio programming consultant and he is the chairman/treasurer of the Midwest broadcast industry group The Conclave.
He states in the announcement, “It’s been a pleasure working with Joe Knapp and everyone at MusicMaster, and I wish them nothing but the continued success they rightfully deserve. For me, the time is right for a new challenge and opportunity.”
