Salt Lake City-based Bonneville International has expanded its relationship with digital advertising services provider Marketron.
Bonneville has been using Marketron’s traffic systems for some 10 years; now Bonneville will supplement their capabilities with Marketron’s SMS service in order to further engage with their station audiences.
“Bonneville is recognized as an industry leader in the text messaging space, so the Marketron SMS Solution is a key asset for us,” says Tim Swift, director of Business Systems, Analytics & Revenue Services at Bonneville. “The platform’s flexibility and ease-of-use allows our brands and personalities to engage in real-time with our audiences and it gives our advertisers a powerful and measurable response channel.”
As SMS has matured and is now seen as a necessity, many media companies are looking for affordable options that provide the highest level of functionality, training, and support, according to Marketron. Marketron says it has some 2,500 broadcasters who have adopted its platform enabling stations to take part in trending marketing tactics such as contesting, chat, loyalty communities and location-based advertising.
