Bonneville International says Carl Gardner will become its new vice president/market manager for its Seattle radio group.
It includes stations KIRO(AM), KBSG(FM) and KTTH(AM). He assumes his new position July 7. He replaces Scott Sutherland, who now works as VP/market manager for Bonneville’s Phoenix stations.
Gardner joins Bonneville after working for Journal Communications for the past 17 years, most recently in a dual role as executive vice president, television and radio operations for Journal Broadcast Group, and as vice president, digital media, for the parent company.
His 30-year career includes gigs as on-air talent and news anchor; seven years with Great American Broadcasting Co.; and another three with Sandusky Radio.
