Broadcast Australia Opts for Nautel

Transmission provider selects FM transmitters for its sites located around the country

Nautel has announced the first deployment of its high power NVLT FM transmitters to Broadcast Australia under a new five-year supply agreement.

The deal, which was handled by Nautel’s Australian representative Innes Corp., consists of the delivery of Nautel transmitters as needed over the next five years.

The transmission provider has placed an initial order for three transmitters. The first transmitter will be installed in Ballarat, Victoria, while the other two are being sent to Broadcast Australia’s Field Services unit in Brisbane for use elsewhere in the country. Broadcast Australia maintains a large number of broadcast sites throughout Australia.

“We are pleased to formalise our continuing engagement with Nautel and Innes Corp.,” said Broadcast Australia’s General Manager of Engineering, Stephen Farrugia. “Broadcast Australia has been using Nautel solid state transmitters for over 25 years and look forward to excellent performance from these air cooled FM transmitters.”
