BroadcastAsia Encompasses Media

Under the banner "Digital: The Journey Forward," BroadcastAsia 2007 combines an extensive exhibition and international conference aimed at broadcasters, production and post-production companies.

Media content creation, management and delivery are the key focuses for the 2007 edition of BroadcastAsia.

Under the banner “Digital: The Journey Forward,” BroadcastAsia 2007 combines an extensive exhibition and international conference aimed at broadcasters, production and post-production companies.

Organizers expect more than 800 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors to arrive from more than 50 countries for the event, which takes place at the Singapore Expo 19–22 June.

Running alongside the exhibition, the three-day BroadcastAsia International Conference, held 19–21 June, will address file-based production, media production and development, digital multimedia, content delivery and the creation of new opportunities, among other topics.

BroadcastAsia 2007 “technology trails” will include live demonstrations and presentations of broadcasting to handheld devices, among other technologies.
In 2006, more than 12,700 trade visitors and 831 exhibitors from 47 countries participated in BroadcastAsia, and 850 people took part in the conference program.
