The Broadcasters’ Foundation says it has a new name as it completes its 50th year.
The organization will be called the Broadcasters’ Foundation of America following action taken on Sept. 26 by the board at its quarterly meeting in New York.
The name “more accurately reflects our service to broadcasters in every state of the union,” said Broadcasters’ Foundation Chair Philip J. Lombardo. “Our new name will place greater emphasis on making sure that broadcasters everywhere in America who need our help will be aware of the mission of our organization.”
