The Broadcasters Foundation of America has launched its annual Holiday Giving Campaign in support of its year-end appeal for donations to the Guardian Fund. The Broadcasters Foundation is a nationwide charity that provides aid to broadcasters in acute need. This annual campaign seeks to spread the word on the organization’s mission.
For the past 65 years, the Broadcasters Foundation has been providing aid to broadcasters who lost their livelihood through a catastrophic event, debilitating disease, or unforeseen family tragedy. Just last year the foundation distributed nearly $850,000 in needed grants.
A donation can be made to the Guardian Fund either online or by calling (212) 373-8250. In addition to individual donations, the Guardian Fund will also accept corporate contributions through the Angel Initiative and bequests can be made through the Foundation’s Legacy Society.
