GatesAir, a provider of over-the-air broadcast equipment and software for television and radio, has named Bryant Burke as vice president of operations.
Based in the company’s Quincy, Ill., manufacturing center, and reporting to GatesAir Chief Product Officer Rich Redmond, Burke will drive company growth through a customer-first approach that strengthens global supply chains, accelerates product delivery and bolsters new product development, a release said.
Burke has both experience and a successful track record in pursuing corporate transformations and global growth initiatives across the telecommunications industry. During his 15-years at Movius Interactive Corp., he implemented improvements in complex, vertically integrated manufacturing and service deliveries, the release said.
“By ensuring a strong focus on process and standardization, we will achieve the rapid product development and world class services that our customers require to monetize their over-the-air broadcast businesses,” said Burke.
In addition, the release added, he will also incorporate lean manufacturing practices and improvement initiatives, including metal fabrication, assembly and test, material planning and control, value engineering and quality standards.
Burke holds a BSBA from Southern New Hampshire University, along with professional certifications in Six Sigma and supply chain management.
