South African firm Broadcast Solutions Electronics has supplied studio and transmission equipment for Times Radio, part of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania-based Business Times publishing group.
The BSE order included a 100 W transmitter and antenna system, as well as a PC-based studio facility designed to provide Times Radio with a temporary program source for the station.
Times Radio plans to expand the service with the completion of a full production and on-air studio, and the installation of a BSE2K 2 kW FM transmitter at a site north of Dar es Salaam.
