Broadcast Supply Worldwide, an audio/radio equipment retailer, was named exclusive dealer for Digidesign’s ProTools HD to the U.S. radio broadcast industry.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
BSW says it has several staff members with Pro Tools HD experience as users, and the partnership means it can supply complete production packages for studios of every size. The dealer also carries Apple computers, among other related gear.
Steve Kawasaki of BSW said the company will be stocking the audio workstation systems, choosing systems based around the needs of radio production studios.
