When “Bubba the Love Sponge” was fired from Clear Channel earlier this week in the midst of a cleanup by the nation’s big radio groups over the intensifying broadcast indecency issue, XM Satellite Radio lost Bubba as well.
That’s because XM was taking a Bubba feed from WXTB(FM), Clearwater, Fla. A spokesman for the satcaster declined to comment on whether host Todd Clem had made inquiries about jumping to XM or whether it was interested in him.
