Buckley Broadcasting is continuing its station sales, the latest in California, with KSEQ(FM), Fresno, being sold to Lotus Communications.
According to a release Buckley had owned the station for over 20 years. Lotus also owns Fresno stations KGST(AM), KHIT(FM), KKBZ(FM) and KLBN(FM). Dick Foreman of Richard A. Foreman Associates was the broker.
In the Huntsville area of northern Alabama, the Educational Media Foundation has acquired WHWT(FM). Eddie Esserman of Media Services Group’s St. Simons Island, Ga. Office was the broker.
Fort Wayne Catholic Radio Group has purchased a construction permit for W258BY in Fort Wayne, Ind. The seller was Northeast Indiana Public Radio and the price was $113,000. MSG’s Bob Heymann repped the seller and Jon Yinger of Broadcast Properties represented the buyer.
And Heymann also brokered the latest Eastern Airwaves translator CP. This one, W262BM, Charlotte, N.C., was acquired from Isothermal Community College for $125,000.
