Buckley Signs Up With Marketron

Eighteen stations will use the business software

Another radio deal for business software maker Marketron. Buckley Radio will use the Mediascape platform on its 18 stations, starting with its flagship, WOR(AM) in New York.

The announcement was made by Buckley President/COO Joe Bilotta and Marketron President/CEO Jeff Haley. Marketron seems to have taken a higher profile with such signings since Haley came on board.

Bilotta said in the statement that the broadcaster is looking to improve efficiencies across its stations.

“Buckley Radio will use Mediascape’s Triton Digital Functionality to track digital streaming and improve execution, reporting and visibility,” the supplier said. “It will also incorporate the electronic orders and invoicing service across its stations to handle orders and revisions, as well as make invoicing a seamless and easy process.” And it will use the Network Connect service to automate processing of orders for network spots.

Marketron is owned by the Wicks Group, which also owns NewBay Media, publisher of Radio World.
