Burk Technology announced a Custom Views Championship contest.
Broadcasters were invited to create custom views in Burk’s Lynx 5, Auto Pilot 3 or AutoPilot Plus software and submit designs to be judged on functionality, visual appeal and engineering innovation.
The company says custom views enable broadcasters to design software screens tailored for their operational requirements. Designers can place customized meters, status indicators and controls anywhere on the screen, and operators can access multiple sites on one display. Map images are included for creating geographic views of the operation with drill-down alarm management.
The contest winner receives a choice of the Burk Watchband remote AM/FM/RDS receiver or a pair of Burk AFD-1 Arc and Flame detectors. Entries are accepted through Nov. 30.
