Burk Technology Has New ARC-16 Firmware

Burk Technology said new firmware for its ARC-16 transmitter remote control system is available.
It said version 5.6 offers faster baud rates for digital communication links, particularly helpful for setups involving multiple remote sites.
President Peter Burk said in the announcement that support of 4800 and 9600 baud benefits performance without requiring more than one T1 slot.
“In a lot of cases, bandwidth is at a premium,” says Burk, “so we’re careful to make sure the ARC-16 uses it economically.”
