Hodge Structural Engineers and Worldwide Structural Fabrications have merged.
The companies said they have “aligned operations under the Worldwide Structural Fabrications name, creating an integrated engineering and fabrication structure focused on broadcast television and FM tower infrastructure.”
The combined organization offers licensed structural engineering, stamped analysis, in-house steel fabrication and field coordination.
“Broadcast facilities frequently require structural modifications for antenna replacements, reinforcement projects and tower upgrades,” they said in the announcement.
“These projects demand careful evaluation of wind loading, code compliance and legacy tower conditions. By integrating engineering directly with fabrication workflows, the organization reduces coordination delays and improves project oversight.”
It said their account teams and client relationships remain unchanged.
Background
Worldwide Structural Fabrication is based in Newburgh, Ind. The Ryan family originally founded Central Tower Inc. in 1984 as a full-service tower and site accessories fabricator. Although that company was sold in 2001, the family remained active in the tower industry and subsequently founded Worldwide Communications Consultants Inc. in 2007.
In 2014, the company built a new fabrication facility, and in 2021 expanded and rebranded as Worldwide Structural Fabrication to better reflect its expertise in structural steel fabrication.
Worldwide Structural Fabrication operated as a family-founded and managed business within the Ryan family prior to this merger.
Hodge Structural Engineers Inc. is headquartered in Evansville, Ind., and was founded in 1991. The firm has operated as a structural engineering consulting practice providing design, inspection and analysis services across commercial, industrial, institutional and tower-related applications. It has been owned and led by President Gray Hodge.
“The merged firm now operates under the Worldwide Structural Fabrication name and remains based in Newburgh. Ownership structure reflects the alignment of the two organizations,” it said. Day-to-day operations and executive leadership will be led by President Tim Ryan, President.
