
TuneIn has a partnership with automotive manufacturer Great Wall Motor Co. and will now be integrated into its infotainment system.
“Under the deal, beginning in June 2024, Tuneln will be available in select Great Wall Motor models in Australia and Europe,” it said in its announcement.
“Additionally, owners will receive a 90-day free trial of TuneIn Premium to enjoy a commercial-free experience.”
The announcement was made by Nicole Wu, vice president of Great Wall, and Rich Stern, CEO of TuneIn.
Great Wall Motor Co. is based in China; it sells through networks in 60 countries and says it has sold 1.4 million vehicles outside China. Its brands include Haval, Wey and Ora.
TuneIn provides a data stream of 100,000 radio stations, 5 million podcasts and 100,000 audiobooks. Premium uses can access commercial-free music and news stations and a variety of live sports coverage.
