BW Broadcast Helps Haiyan Victims

Company works with its UK distributor and local partner to provide broadcast gear

In the wake of Typhoon Haiyan, BW Broadcast and its distributor in the United Kingdom Broadcast Warehouse are working to help re-establish communications to the central regions of the Philippines.

With a local partner on the ground, both BW Broadcast and Broadcast Warehouse have donated equipment to help the community set up communications for the stricken population. According to BW, one of its customers donated a TX300 V2 FM transmitter and Ubiquiti NanoBridge links to the local members of the International Association of Women in Radio and Television.

As volunteers build temporary/mobile community radio stations in the affected areas, BW explained that it is in constant contact, via its local partner, to assist with all critical needs. It also noted that it continues to compile gear it has in stock so that it can ship as soon as the exact needs have been established.
