Cadillac Model Adds HD Radio

Luxury crossover will include it standard in the fancy CUE system

Cadillac will make HD Radio with iTunes Tagging a standard feature in its 2013 SRX luxury crossover model.

The vehicle goes on sale this fall. The carmaker made the announcement at the 2012 New York Auto Show. Two other Cadillac models are available with HD Radio.

This crossover will come with Cadillac’s CUE touchscreen infotainment system, which has an eight-inch screen in the instrument panel.

It’s rigged for multimedia drivers; in addition to HD Radio, its features include Bluetooth audio streaming, multiple USB ports and an SD card slot. The system does voice commands and uses the swipe/pinch/spread gesture system that consumers are coming to expect on their electronics.
