Job seekers at NAB2007 will be able to attend the Career Day event organized by the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF).
The event, taking place 18 April, will feature a networking roundtable, career fair and broadcast career sessions. Industry professionals, students and entry-level job seekers will be able to meet recruiters from broadcast and media companies.
NABEF is putting on the career fair in conjunction with the annual conventions of the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) and the Radio-Television News Directors Association (RTNDA), and with the support of corporate sponsors Edge Technology, Emmis Communications, Sony and Tandberg Television.
“Promoting diversity and advancing opportunities for job seekers pursuing careers in broadcasting is a high priority for the NAB Education Foundation,” said NAB President and Chief Executive David K. Rehr. “The NABEF Career Fair is a ‘must-attend’ event for both job seekers and recruiters at NAB2007.”
Admission to the Career Day is open to both registrants and non-registrants of NAB2007.
