Carter Broadcast Group’s Kansas City stations KPRS(FM) and KPRT(AM) have expanded into the mobile world with apps from developer Kickanotch mobile (formerly Pronto Mobile).
The apps package includes modules for news, contest information, daily coupon deals, a QR code scanner, social media, etc. These tools allow for interaction with DJs, contests such as scavenger hunts (using the QR code scanner), numerous coupon and advertising offers. The mobile app is available for iPhone, Android and BlackBerry platforms.
Interactive Director of Carter Broadcast Group Cristina Shell said the supplier helps the company manage banner ads, text, mobile apps, and reports.
