Cassis Joins Bunzel Media

Will identify sponsor partners for Radio 2015 project

Bunzel Media Resources has retained the services of radio industry marketing and communications professional Renee Cassis as director of sales.

Cassis will work directly with the consulting and analytics firm to implement its Radio 2015 project, a “media intelligence” platform designed to continuously present full-scale analysis and actionable information to radio professionals. She will be responsible for identifying corporate-level sponsor partners.

Radio 2015 is a multilayered project created by Reed Bunzel to ensure that radio broadcasters are able to navigate their businesses profitably and successfully as the industry collides with disruptive technologies and competitive forces. To that end, Radio 2015 will help radio businesspeople make decisions by exposing them to new concepts that can be used to generate revenue, the company said.

Cassis has more than 25 years’ experience in the radio industry. In 2009, she launched marketing consultancy firm RC Communications, which she will continue to operate. She also recently served as sales marketing consultant for Radio Ink magazine. Earlier in her career Cassis was the vice president for corporate marketing at the Radio Advertising Bureau, and she held similar positions at Westwood One and Unistar Radio Networks. She began her career as promotion director at WCBS(FM) in New York.
