The Connecticut Association of Broadcasters told stations that its EAS Endec subsidy program will end shortly.
As RW reported earlier this year, CBA set up the group purchase plan of Sage alerting gear from equipment dealer SCMS, with an eye toward helping broadcasters comply with the new Common Alerting Protocol.
The deal was expected to total 70 to 80 units of the Sage Alerting Digital Endec Model 3644, according to the earlier Radio World report.
VP of Emergency Services Wayne Mulligan now has emailed to let stations know orders must have payment submitted by December 30, 2011.
