CBA to Hold Broadcasting Job Fair

Event is Monday in North Haven.

Those interested in a career in radio or TV in Connecticut are invited to attend the Connecticut Broadcasters Association’s Broadcast Opportunities Job Fair.

The free event will be held Monday, May 12 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in North Haven.

CBA says the job fair provides the public with an opportunity to meet with management from Connecticut radio and TV stations, including reps from Telemundo and Univision, who can provide information on engineering, sales, production and on-air broadcasting careers. “We scheduled this year’s job fair at a location that is easy to drive to, at a time we hope is convenient to many people considering careers in broadcasting,” said Mike Rice, president and CEO of the CBA.

No advance registration is required. Rice recommends job-seekers bring resumes and tapes/DVDs/CDs of their work, if available.
