College Broadcasters Inc., an association of student electronic media outlets from around the country, has announced that it will accept entries for its 11th annual CBI National Student Production Awards through May 11.
With 24 different categories in radio and television, the competition received 580 entries last year, according to a press release. These categories include Best Radio Newscast, Best Public Service Announcement, Best DJ, Best Website and more.
A panel of professional judges will select four finalists in each category. Finalists will be announced in August. The winners will be named at the Fall National Student Media Convention in Atlanta, Oct. 25–27.
Except for CBI members, there is a $50 entry fee.
