CBS Digital Partners with

More editorial material for CBS’ locally-oriented sites

CBS Local Digital Media, overseer of CBS’ market-oriented aggregator sites for its media properties, announced an agreement with, a citizen journalist site, to use material on CBS Local Digital Media web sites.

According to a release the CBS local sites will be able to use relevant on the CBS sites. An emphasis will be placed on lifestyle material.

It stated, “Content will focus on ‘Best Of’ guides and ‘Top Spots’ lists covering a range of topics including arts and culture, shopping, food and drink, nightlife and music, as well as travel and outdoors.” claims up to 85,000 active “Examiners,” i.e. contributors. Material will be used at all 25 of CBS’ sites, starting in the first quarter of 2012.
