CBS Radio Names Jeff Federman Manager, LA Cluster

CBS Radio says Jeff Federman, currently serving as vice president and general manager of KCBS(FM) and director of sales for the company’s seven stations in Los Angeles, will take on the responsibility of market manager while continuing his role at KCBS Jack FM.
Federman joined CBS in January 2004 from Emmis Communications where he served as vice president and director of sales for the company’s two radio stations in Los Angeles, KPWR(FM) and KZLA(FM), for nearly five years. He also worked as sales manager for KBIG(FM) and KLAC(FM) in Los Angeles from 1996-1999, and as director of sales and marketing for CBS Radio’s KROQ(FM) prior to that position.
Dan Weiner, vice president and general manager of KTWV(FM) The WAVE, will replace Federman as director of sales for CBS Los Angeles. He has been with the station since June 2004 and will maintain his executive management position.
Both appointments are effective immediately.
