CBS Radio News says “Don’t wait for breaking news … let it come to you,” with its new iPhone app.
The broadcaster says CBS Radio is the only network news radio app to provide the latest breaking news in real time, 24-7. The CBS Radio News app provides newscasts, specials, in-depth reports, interviews on headlines and features from correspondents and others.
Harvey Nagler, CBS News vice president for radio, was effusive in the announcement: “CBS Radio News can proudly say we own breaking news for the iPhone radio listener.”
The app allows on-demand and personalized listening. Users downloading the iPhone app from the Apple App Store can choose topics that most interest them.
